What care do you provide?
We work with a team of care professionals to develop a care plan and to determine if the house can provide the setting and services the client needs.
Can special diets be accommodated?
Yes, both dietary needs and preferences are considered during meal planning. If you know of a meal your loved-one especially likes, provide a recipe and we will incorporate it.
Is Wi-Fi included?
Yes. We have excellent Wi-Fi throughout the house and porches. We also encourage our residents to interact by playing games, doing puzzles, walking, sharing stories, reading, and enjoying hobbies.
We support a home respectful of everyone’s comfort and preferences. Therefore, individual iPads or televisions are provided to clients while the television in the common room is reserved for movie night and special events.
Are transportation services provided
Johnson Point House does not provide transportation but can assist in arranging medical transportation.
What is the food like?
We believe that food is a very important part of our day. It can inspire us, lift our mood, create opportunities to create together and celebrate.
We make a special effort to create and serve a varied and healthy menu while responding to the particular tastes and preferences of our clients. We welcome and encourage families and clients to bring us favorite recipes and menu ideas.
We go out of way to shop locally. Our community is blessed with a bounty of amazing coffee roasters, bakeries, dairies, small farms, and local food co-ops. We source most of our food from these.
