OUR STORY

I came to the idea of starting Johnson Point House soon after my husband was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. In those early days the future looked bleak and uncertain. Faced with many unknowns, I felt I needed to create a plan I had some control over. I decided I was going to create a care facility for my family that would put my concerns to rest. I set out to create a space to wrap my loved ones in care, comfort, and security.

Many years before, I put myself through school as a home healthcare aid and I carry deep and moving memories of that time and the people I was blessed to have met and cared for. My mother Patricia was working alongside me then as she is today helping me create this vision.

We are honored to be entrusted with your loved one, assisting you and your family through what can be a very difficult time, as well as an opportunity for profound insight, wisdom, and contentment. We have very strong ideals of what care means and how to provide it.  We want to share that care with you and your family.
