We strive to create a simple, cozy home inspired by a generous spirit of caregiving and hospitality. Johnson Point House is an island of calm, comfort, and peace. We are here to ensure each client’s needs are met, their preferences are recognized, and they are honored with grace, safety, and warmth of heart.
Each client is assisted in living their own story every day. Whether it is relishing in the shared preparation of favorite recipes or sharing in the fellowship of remembrances.

OFFERING SHORT & LONG-TERM CARE
We offer short term respite care and long-term care for aging individuals who need on-going assistance with daily living activities and memory care. End of life care, such as palliative and hospice care are also supported.
Because we accept no more than four residents at a time, we are able, in consultation with family and medical professionals, to provide residents with focused, individual care.
We hope to give you peace of mind knowing that we are caring for your loved ones the way you would care for them.
STROLLING
Johnson Point House is in a remarkable location. A sense of community is evident when strolling our quiet country roads, where neighbors regularly meet and greet one another, oftentimes stopping for a bit of a chat before continuing or even stopping over for a bit of afternoon tea or coffee.
GARDENS
Johnson Point house plans to expand its gardens each season and providing more opportunity to poke in the dirt and bring food and flowers to the table.

Let us enjoy the bounty of the summer, the harvest of the fall, and the preserves we create together and enjoy through winter.
We create community sharing our favorite dishes, delights, and stories, celebrating our lives from the past as we continue in the present.
SET ON SIX ACRES OF LAWN, WOODS, & GARDENS
Johnson Point House is a ranch style home set on six acres of lawns and woods. It is surrounded by quiet roads at the end of Johnson Point, 15 minutes from downtown Olympia. The home has guest four bedrooms, two with a shared bath and one with an ensuite bath.
OUR STORY
Founder Julie Vanneste came to the idea of starting Johnson Point House soon after her husband was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. In the early days the future looked uncertain. Faced with many unknowns, she felt she needed to create a plan she had some control over.
It was at this point she decided to create a care facility for her family. She set out to create a space to wrap her loved ones in care, comfort, and security.
